Thrive City Marketplace Hosts 30 Women-Owned Small Businesses

On Sunday, April 11, the Warriors will host a Thrive City Marketplace spotlighting 30 women-owned small businesses from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Thrive City. By following health and safety protocols, customers will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of art boutiques, unique apparel and self-care brands, food and beverages, accessories, and more.
The Thrive City Marketplace will be a complete experience for people to shop at their favorite vendor booths and get to know a variety of the female entrepreneurs from around the Bay Area. The plaza will feature live entertainment by Michelle Miller, better known as DJSHELLHEART. The Richmond, CA native managed to build a strong fan base in the Hip-Hop and LGBTQ community. Shellheart has been on five U.S. tours and two European tours, performing alongside top artists such as Rexxliferaj, Mr. Carmack, BAS Of Dreamivlle, P-Lo & Marc E. Bassy.

Amigas Muralistas - A collective of women muralists who have found each other in the painting world, they are following in the work of the Bay Area's Mujeres Muralistas from the 1970s. They started collaborating to paint murals in our communities. All women picked up art from different walks of life, and they all are supporting one another to create murals and various expressions of art that illustrate their stories, heal communities, and create change.
Atelier Le Roux - Atelier Le Roux is an Art studio that focuses on the creation and fabrication of conceptual, decorative and functional glass pieces using the techniques of glass painting, leaded, fused, cast, slumped and silkscreen.

Gratitude LLC (afrocentric gifts) - Gratitude opened in February 2016 in a underserved community in downtown Richmond.
